Now, in that book you first see the connection between her and Sylvan. No child could come out of that without being somewhat broken. I don’t know if the author is going for the Alpha domination or what but the women in her books experience paralyzing panic at the sight of these men. Sylvan was more likeable to me than Baird, but I tend to find brooding and emotionally with-drawn bad boys sexy.
She was probably in the sacred grove somewhere, bustling around making sure everything was perfect and directing the guests to their seats. When their ship is forced down in the middle of a rugged mountain range Sophia and Sylvan are stranded. Alien and the Wedding Planner.
I can’t argue that this is a very imaginative realm with well described imagery, a bounty of characters and there are a lot of sub plots which adds more depth to dvangeline story, but throughout the whole story whimpering Sophia rightly or wrongly was rejecting Sylvan who was so loving, loyal and the perfect understanding Warrior and it got too repetitive.
They are totally identical aside from the hair color.

I’m not sure, but it worked for me. The heroine, Sophie, has a huntted phobia about needles stemming from a childhood illness which leads her to fear all things sharp including the fangs of the alien to which she is secretly attracted.
I think I enjoyed it more than book 1 because I knew what to expect with the romance and because the world was more familiar to me this time around. I’d rather have a bite from you that a kiss from anyone else. It is not my favorite type. It was hnuted real. We see Sophia as strong albeit a little erratic and fanatical in her need to get her twin back from one of the Kindred.

Once again, I could not put this book down. She annderson herself in the end, fortunately, by growing a small pair. I would also like to ask – who is the story about, anyway? He might as well be reading the Wall Street Journal.
But we also saw redeeming qualities about him in this book.

I must say after reading the first book “Claimed” if feel in love with Sylvan and Sophia along with this series. Olivia Waterhouse just got drafted.
Evangelune was great watching these two come together along with trying to fight their feelings! After a devastating rejection on his home planet, his heart is a block of ice no one can melt – or so he thinks until he meets Sophia.
Sophia is weak and spineless. All women between the ages of efangeline and thirty-five were required to participate and though it was rare to be called as a Kindred bride, it did happen on a regular basis.
If she did, she was liable to freak out like she had way back in third grade.
