The venue of the conference is the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków (http://www.matinf.uj.edu.pl/en_GB/). The street address reads as follows: ul. prof. Stanisława Łojasiewicza 6, 30-348 Kraków.
The lectures start on Monday morning, July 2, 2018, and end on Friday, July 6, 2018.
The conference venue is approximately a 30 minutes ride from the city center (direction: Czerwone Maki, stop: Norymberska). There is a convenient and regular bus (no. 194) and tram (no. 52) service running to the university campus — see the map. You can find all the necessary information about Krakow public transport and ticket fees here. There is also a search engine that will help you get around the city, available here. This website will also tell you how to reach the city center from the airport.
The city offers a large number of hotels of all categories. If you wish to make a hotel room reservation for yourself, please note that August is a peak season and Krakow is a popular tourist destination. Therefore, we suggest to reserve as soon as possible. A convenient – and attractive – location for your stay could be the Old Town, because of a very good connection with the conference venue. You can find a handy hotel search engine here.
You can also get a glimpse of Krakow’s tourist attractions at Magical Krakow official website. A busy schedule of concerts, festivals and art events will appear there as the summer approaches.
