Catherune course, Sherlock and Savich are the linchpin of the story and they have some scary times in this book but their relationship is a strong as ever. Who would be out so late, anchored in open water? She lives in northern California. I just have to see what happen next. She can deliver the goods. Fast read, interesting although somewhat predictable plot, excellent characterization.

I totally love Savich and I wish Sherlock was my bestie. Sure, some of the background details of the main characters were missing, but it was still easy enough to pick up the story.
The action is jam packed and the book has more twists and turns than that famous street in San Francisco. Emma is the center of a delightful subplot involving her being a piano prodigy that adds a nice light coultrr to offset the tenseness of the story.
